BURIAL TREES – BEING THE FIRST OF A SERIES ON THE ABORIGINAL CUSTOMS OF THE DARLING VALLEY AND CENTRAL NEW SOUTH WALES
” Taphoglyphs,or burial trees, were a custom of the Wiradjuri and the southern half of the Kamilaroi nation”, “The teleteglyphs are found on the northern side of this area and extended into Queensland on the north ” & ” There are no dendroglyphs along the Darling River. The custom terminates on the lower Barwon. between Walgett and Brewarrina.”
